Weekend Away

Our annual weekend is open to all, and is an opportunity to step outside the regular rhythms of life to enjoy time meditating on timeless truths from God words in God’s glorious creation with God’s family – our Church.

This year we are heading down to Waterslea Conference Centre in Nowra to enjoy the lush green landscape and picturesque views of the Shoalhaven River. Our guest speaker is Rev. Andrew Hudson speaking on theVital Signs of the Christian life!

Whether you've been with us for a long time or you are new to Gymea Anglican, we would love you to join us on our weekend away.

"Great opportunity to spend quality time with the church family, studying and sharing together around the Word of God. Bonfires, jigsaws, wombats and walks with excellent food to follow.."

"Our family loves coming to weekend away. We enjoy getting to spend extended time with our church family and it feels like a little taste of heaven. We always come away feeling encouraged - either from the teaching, worship time or the great conversations. Weekend away is a fantastic time for the oldest to the youngest members of our church family to be together and build one another up. As well as all this there is lots of fun to be had at Waterslea from cow spotting, to wombat hunting, bushwalks, boardgames, basketball, scootering, photography, reading, eating, campfires, late nights or early mornings there is something for everyone."
