Good Things Come In Threes!

Our Threefold Mission: Gospel, Community, and Mission

At Gymea Anglican, we are driven by a simple yet powerful mission: we love Jesus, we love each other, and we love Gymea. These three pillars form the foundation of our church, guiding every aspect of our life together.

We Love Jesus

Our love for Jesus is at the core of everything we do. We are grateful for the transformative work He has done in our lives, turning sinners into saints, adopting us, and setting us free. This message is central to our identity, and we aim to make it the focal point of all our endeavours.

We Love Each Other

We aspire to cultivate a tight-knit community centred on the gospel, where love abounds, and together, we joyfully serve the Lord.

We Love Gymea

The gospel compels us to share the good news out of love for God and our neighbours. Our mission extends beyond the walls of our church, as we strive to be a positive force in Gymea and beyond. And as we focus on Jesus, he will create a community in our church where we really care for each other. And as we pray for the world around us, and live and speak in compelling ways, we will see people come to know Jesus.

Acknowledgement Of Country

Gymea Anglican Church acknowledges the triune God, the Creator of heaven and earth and His ownership of all things (Psalm 24:1). We recognise that He gave stewardship of these lands upon which we meet to the First Nations Peoples of this country (Acts 11:26). In His sovereignty, He has allowed other people groups to migrate to these shores. We acknowledge the cultures of our First Nations Peoples and are thankful for the community that we share together now. We pay our respects to Dharawal speaking people who are the traditional custodians of the area now called Gymea, and their elders leaders, both past and present, and those who are rising up to become leaders. We pay our respect to all First Nations People and pray for God’s blessing on all Australians as we seek reconciliation and justice.
