🌞 Summer Fair at Gymea Anglican Church

ree

Saturday 29 November • From 8am

There’s something special about a good old-fashioned church fair — laughter, food, family, and a real sense of community. Our Summer Fair is just that: a celebration of community, not just within our church, but across Gymea and the Shire.

We love being part of this place, and it’s our privilege to host a fun, friendly day for our neighbours. Whether you’re here for a bargain, a bite to eat, or just a great Saturday morning out — you’re welcome.

What’s On

  • Women’s Fashion Sale – high-end fashion at church-friendly prices. It’s a much-loved annual tradition and will be the highlight of our back hall.

  • Crafts, Cakes, and Books – handmade goods, tasty treats, and pre-loved finds to explore.

  • Kids’ Zone – jumping castle, face painting, and fun for all ages.

  • Food and Drinks – barbecue, ice cream, and plenty of good coffee to keep you going.

  • Live Music & Entertainment – enjoy a relaxed atmosphere as you wander and connect with friends and neighbours.

At Gymea Anglican Church, we love Jesus, we love each other, and we love Gymea — and the Summer Fair is one of the ways we get to show that. So come along, bring your family and friends, and enjoy a morning that celebrates all that’s good about community life.

Acknowledgement Of Country

Gymea Anglican Church acknowledges the triune God, the Creator of heaven and earth and His ownership of all things (Psalm 24:1). We recognise that He gave stewardship of these lands upon which we meet to the First Nations Peoples of this country (Acts 11:26). In His sovereignty, He has allowed other people groups to migrate to these shores. We acknowledge the cultures of our First Nations Peoples and are thankful for the community that we share together now. We pay our respects to Dharawal speaking people who are the traditional custodians of the area now called Gymea, and their elders leaders, both past and present, and those who are rising up to become leaders. We pay our respect to all First Nations People and pray for God’s blessing on all Australians as we seek reconciliation and justice.
