End Of Days

🎙️ Holiday Sermon Series at Gymea Anglican – End of Days

What did Jesus really say about the end of the world?

While many people get stuck trying to decipher the book of Revelation, we often overlook something crucial: Jesus himself spoke clearly and powerfully about the end of days.

Join us this July as we spend three weeks hearing from Jesus—and one of his closest followers, Peter—on the return of Christ and what it means for us today.

🗓️ July 7 – The Sudden Return

Matthew 24 – Jesus and the disciples look at the temple… but Jesus sees the end.📍We’ll reflect on how his return will be sudden, unexpected, and not to be ignored.

🗓️ July 14 – The Cosmic Conclusion

2 Peter 3 – It’s not just personal—it’s global.🌍 The end of days will shake heaven and earth.

🗓️ July 21 – The Final Divide

Matthew 25 – Jesus speaks of sheep and goats, of judgment and destiny.⚖️ The end is not just decisive—it’s also deeply personal.

💬 Got Questions? Stay for the Seminar

After the 10am and 5pm services each week, we’ll host a short 15-minute Q&A Seminar with the preacher.

We’ll explore key questions like:

  • What happens after we die?

  • Is there such a thing as "soul sleep"?

  • What about hell, judgment, and second chances?

  • What happens to those who never heard about Jesus—or to children who die?

Sadly, we won’t have time for a seminar after the 8am service, but you’re very welcome to come along to a later session or get in touch to chat.

This is a great series to invite friends to—especially those with big questions. We’ll still sing, pray, and open the Bible together like we always do—but these next few weeks will speak to deep and universal human concerns. And best of all, Jesus doesn’t leave us in the dark.

Jesus spoke about the end—not to frighten us, but to prepare us. So come. Ask. Hear. And find hope at the End of Days.

Acknowledgement Of Country

Gymea Anglican Church acknowledges the triune God, the Creator of heaven and earth and His ownership of all things (Psalm 24:1). We recognise that He gave stewardship of these lands upon which we meet to the First Nations Peoples of this country (Acts 11:26). In His sovereignty, He has allowed other people groups to migrate to these shores. We acknowledge the cultures of our First Nations Peoples and are thankful for the community that we share together now. We pay our respects to Dharawal speaking people who are the traditional custodians of the area now called Gymea, and their elders leaders, both past and present, and those who are rising up to become leaders. We pay our respect to all First Nations People and pray for God’s blessing on all Australians as we seek reconciliation and justice.
