About the event
As we hurtle towards the end of the year, time can really seem to speed up. Often we feel overwhelmed with the plethora of end-of-year celebrations and commitments - whether it’s with work, family or friends.
- There’s the challenge of trying to get everything ready at home…
- You’re probably going somewhere, or having people come to you…
- There’s all the stress of shopping and cooking and cleaning…
- Many of you have also been serving faithfully at our church…but that takes time…
Nevertheless, there are definitely ways to handle these challenges with grace... This advent we'll be thinking about Common Sense For The Silly Season (Dec 4 -Dealing With Anxiety, Dec 11 - Dealing With Difficult People, Dec 18 - Dealing With Gifts).
Acknowledgement Of Country
Gymea Anglican Church acknowledges the triune God, the Creator of heaven and earth and His ownership of all things (Psalm 24:1). We recognise that He gave stewardship of these lands upon which we meet to the First Nations Peoples of this country (Acts 11:26). We pay our respect to all First Nations People and pray for God’s blessing on all Australians as we seek reconciliation and justice.
