About the event
Maundy Thursday Parish Meal 7pm March 28 You are invited to join us on Thursday night 28th March for a Maundy Thursday Communion Meal. Rich symbolism can be found in this ancient Jewish celebration. Even though Passover traditionally celebrates God’s power and deliverance of the Hebrew people, it also foreshadows the ultimate freedom God would provide over a thousand years later through His Lamb, our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 5:7).
The cost will be $20, which will include a catered (lamb) meal from “More Than Meat” our local butcher as well as the Grape Juice, Bitter Herbs, Parsley, Haroset.
We’d like to ask you to contribute some Matzah (or Wholewheat Unleavened Bread) to share, boiled eggs (to share), a goblet for the centre of the table, and a wine glass (to drink non alcoholic fruit of the vine).
