Gymea Anglican Church, celebrates 85 years, St Paul’s REUNION

Dear friends,

For your information…we hope you might join us…and please pass this info on to others who might be interested.

Sunday, August 12 – Gymea Anglican Church continues to celebrate 85 years of ministry and witness with a St Paul’s REUNION. This church was planted in an old garage on a different site in 1952, so it turns 60 in August. There have been many changes and many activities over the years. We hope many former friends and associates, young and old, will join us for fellowship and lots of shared memories as well as being challenged to keep looking to our great God as we move into the future.

The reunion starts at 12 noon – please bring some lunch you can share.

Rev Stephen Bainbridge (who grew up at Gymea) will speak at the main meeting between 1 – 2pm. This will be followed by the placement of a Time Capsule.

Stay longer for more fellowship and a real old fashioned “favourites” sing-a-long finishing with afternoon tea.

Greeting you in Christian  fellowship,

Jean Robinson.
