We think it important to get the girls together.
We love to hang out with women of all ages as we have so much to offer each other.
Women at Gymea gather together at different times throughout the year and provides opportunities for women to grow in their knowledge of God’s word, encourage one another and build a strong fellowship and sense of Christian community. We hold various events throughout the year to share the love we have for Jesus with other women.
Women on the Move
Events are held throughout the year to encourage women to grow in their relationship with Jesus and invite their friends, relatives or neighbours to hear the word of God. We hold some fun events like the Fashion Parade, Gingerbread House morning and Easter Hot Cross Bun Breakfast and also a teaching night with a great speaker.
Women Walking Group
Walk Cronulla Esplanade Saturday 7:30am in Spring and Summer for fun and exercise.
Playtime for Mums & Bubs
Come along with your tot for friendship and fun.

Coffee Break
A “Morning for Mums” is held once a term on Fridays. Preschool children are cared for while their mothers enjoy tea and a speaker “café style”. The aim is to encourage parents in their important role. eg see event for April 29
Dorcas Craft Group
Dorcas is a Craft group who meet every Monday 10:00am – 12:00pm during school term. We teach and learn a wide variety of handcrafts. Some just bring along a project to work on and enjoy the company of others. Cost is only $2 which includes morning tea. We also have a craft trading table – you would be surprised what we have, someone’s trash could be your treasure. We also make items for charities, so nothing goes to waste.
LIFE Groups
These are groups of 6-10 women meeting weekly for spiritual growth and support. We study the Bible and pray together, discuss and hang out, sharing our lives, joys and struggles. A schedule of various LIFE Groups is available from our pastors or office, or speak to our LIFE Groups Pastor Matt Redmond.
Women’s Convention
Women’s Convention is a wonderful conference for women of all ages from various evangelical churches. It is held at Katoomba Convention centre, and there is a choice of two different weekends in October. The speakers are the best in Australia and from overseas, and the music and singing is amazing. The topics are interesting and spiritually inspiring. I am sure that once you have come once you will be hooked!
All Gymea Anglican Church members working with children have successfully completed the Sydney Anglican Church’s Child Protection Course.
