Every now and then in some homes you see a framed text that reads “As for me and my household we will serve the Lord”. We encourage families to ensure that this is true for their household.
As well as gathering together on Sundays, families at Gymea have a casual hangout on Saturday afternoons. Families come as little or as much as they are able.
Saturday Arvo is an opportunity for whole families, whatever their shape and size, to hang out together with other families and singles. Arvo helps us to get to know each other better and gives the kids a chance to grow up with each other in a big extended Christian family.
A nice part of Saturday is that it meets directly before the senior teen and young adult hang out on Saturday Night. This gives families the opportunity to mix with young people and stay in touch with the rest of the community.
